TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Customer’s signature on the Rental Agreement states that the Renter confirms and accepts that he/she has read these Conditions as well as the Terms and Conditions stipulated on the rental agreement, and hereby agrees with them. The Conditions of the rental and the Rental Agreement are considered inseparable.
Driver's Required Qualification
Vehicles can be rented by drivers who are aged at least 21 years old and have at least one year of driving experience.
In order to rent a car, renters must present a valid driving license, a passport and a credit card.
Information on international driving license:
International driving licenses are required if only the national driving licenses are not in Latin letters and for the citizens of United States.
Authorized drivers of the vehicle
As per the Rental Agreement, only the Renter is authorized to drive Enterprise Rent-A-Car vehicle. Other drivers can be registered as additional drivers. However, the Renter remains responsible for the contract. Additional drivers should present a valid driving license and passport. Additional fee applies according to the price list.
The Renter acknowledges and confirms that he/she will not permit anyone to drive the Vehicle:
A) who is not authorized by the Enterprise staff and is not registered in the Rental Agreement as an additional driver
B) who does not meet the minimum requirements of Enterprise and official state law regarding driver’s age, validity of driving license and/or any other minimum requirements;
C) Who is authorized by Enterprise Rent-A-Car office but is under alcoholic influence, narcotic or any other stuff affective consciousness or ability to react, or who is exhausted.
In case of breach of this clause the Renter remains responsible for the whole damage and its circumstances.
Responsibility for property
Enterprise Rent-A-Car takes no responsibility for the items or belongings left or forgotten in the rented vehicle. Renter should check the inside of the vehicle carefully before returning or at the moment of return.
Accidents, Theft, Vandalism and Damages,
A) The Renter must immediately inform about road accident, scratches, crash, theft of the Vehicle or any stolen parts and/or any other incident the Vehicle is involved.
B) Without Enterprise Rent-A-Car permission and the police presence the Renter must not accept any liability or release the other part of the accident on his sole decision. The Renter must immediately report the company, police and the insurance company about the accident and follow the further instructions. If the Renter does not follow these instructions, then he/she remains fully responsible for the damage and the circumstances. Enterprise Rent-A-Car team is always there to assist.
C) If an accident happens or in case of theft and/or vandalism, the Renter must immediately report the police and the company and at police presence fill all the necessary documentation. Upon returning the rental vehicle the Renter must provide the copy of the protocol filled at the moment of the accident. Attention! If the police protocol misses, then the Renter remains fully responsible for the damage.
D) The Renter must keep the Vehicle keys, official documents, remote control and anti – theft system safely. If the vehicle is stolen, the Renter will be required to return all these belongings to Enterprise Rent-A-Car representatives.
E) The Renter must closely cooperate with Enterprise, Police and with the insurance agency to help in the investigation of the traffic accident/loss/vandalism.
If the Renter ignores this clause and does not fulfil the requirements, he/she will remain fully responsible both financially and legally.
F) In case of some obstacles such as darkness, weather conditions, time and/or place of the Vehicle return, vehicle uncleanness and it makes impossible for Enterprise representative to define the loss of Vehicle parts and/or damages, then Enterprise has the right within 48 hours to charge for loss or damage if such is discovered.
Parking fees and Traffic Tickets
A) By putting the signature on the Rental Agreement the Renter confirms that he/she takes the full responsibility for all traffic and parking fines occurred during the rental agreement and any other breach of law and its consequences.
B) If the Renter gets traffic or parking fines during his/her rental period, he/she must present the ticket to the Enterprise Representative with the payment confirmation.
C) If the fines described in paragraph <<PARKING / TRAFFIC FINES >>(A) are received after the rental and covered by Enterprise, the Renter must compensate to Enterprise the full amount of the ticket, taxes plus reasonable administrative charges. By signing the Rental Agreement the Renter authorizes the Rental Office to charge the respective amounts from his/her credit cards.
D) At any time Renters may request Enterprise to provide him/her with a copy of rental agreement, police ticket and the receipt that those have been paid off.
Personal Data
When putting the signature on the Rental Agreement, the Renter acknowledges and accepts that he/she knows that Enterprise may use his/her personal data according to Enterprise needs that include statistical analysis, credit check and protection of Enterprise property. If the Renter breaches the Rental Agreement clauses or state law upon legal bodies’ request Enterprise has the right to share the available information publically and forward it to third parties.
Validity of the conditions
A) Enterprise reserves the right at his sole decision to change or amend the Conditions unilaterally and without prior notice.
B) Any controversies between Enterprise and the Renter will be settled between the parties during the negotiations. If a settlement cannot be reached, then the dispute will be passed to the Republic of Armenia County Court according to the legislation of the RA.
One-Way Rentals
Enterprise Rent-A-Car allows domestic and international one way rentals. International one way rentals are available only between Armenia and Georgia Locations. This service should be booked either at the stage of reservation or at the counter. For international one way rentals additional fees may apply.
Driving Restrictions
Special authorization and permission is required for driving from Armenia to Georgia. Such permission can be obtained at Enterprise Rent-A-Car offices. Extra Charge applies for driving to or in Georgia. Driving any other country is forbidden
Delivery and Collection of the rental vehicle
A) Enterprise provides vehicles to the Renters in operating and overall good conditions, clean and with a full tank, complete with all necessary documents.
B) The Renter agrees to return the Vehicle to Enterprise according to the information stated in the Rental Agreement, in the same condition as before the rental, taking into the consideration the natural tear and wear, returning the same documents and extra equipment.
C) The Renter will review the condition of the Vehicle when supplied by the supplier, and by signing, will agree that it matches to the description given in the Vehicle Delivery/Acceptance protocol which is inseparable part of the Rental Agreement. The Renter confirms that during the rental he/she will be responsible for the careful use according to the technical description of the Vehicle, documents and additional accessories and for safe driving.
D) The Renter must return the Vehicle to the Enterprise Rent-A-Car location (or any other) designated in the Rental Agreement according to the return time stipulated in the Rental Agreement. If The Renter drops off the Vehicle out of the estimated working hours he/she must fulfill with the out-of-office-hours return terms for that location. If the Renter returns the Vehicle within out of office hours’ time framework, he/she remains fully responsible for the Vehicle until Enterprise personnel takes possession of it by signing on the Delivery/Acceptance Protocol.
E) If the Renter does not return the Vehicle to the mentioned return location/place at the time stated in the Rental Agreement, Enterprise will charge an additional day's charges to the rental amount after one hour of delay. If the Renter fails to return the Vehicle to the agreed point, or if it is out of hours’ time, which has not been agreed priory, he / she will be fully responsible for the delivery or out of hours’ charges.
F) The Renter is obliged to pay a supplementary cleaning fee if the Vehicle requires a more thorough than Enterprise standard inside and outside cleaning at return.
If the vehicle is returned with less tank than fixed in the Rental Agreement at the moment of pick up the Renter is fully responsible for the petrol charges. Additional fee of 500 AMD will apply per each missing liter.
The Renter may request to prepay for the full tank at the moment of pick up and return the vehicle with an empty tank. Fuel not used by the time of the Vehicle's return will not be refunded.
Please note that this is not a sale of fuel.
Insurance terms and conditions
Pack 1 Protection
The rates the Renter books comes with the Standard Insurance inclusive. The Standard insurance package includes Collision Damage Waiver, Theft Protection, Third Party Liability and Personal Accident Insurance with excess amount. The excess is 200.000 AMD for all vehicles. For SUVs and Passenger Vans the excess is 250.000 AMD.
The insurance terms and conditions apply if only the Renter complies with the Rental Agreement terms and conditions as well as with the appendixes which are inseparable part of the Rental Agreement.
Super Collision Damage Waiver
Super Collision Damage Waiver and Theft Protection (SCDWTP) is an optional coverage which reduces the excess of Collision Damage Waiver and Theft Protection in the event of damage and or theft to the rental vehicle subject to the terms and conditions of the rental contract and applicable local laws. It reduces the excess for damage or theft to 100.000 AMD for all vehicles. For Premium and Luxury SUVs and Passenger Vans the excess will be reduced to 125.000 AMD.
The insurance terms and conditions apply if only the Renter complies with the Rental Agreement terms and conditions as well as with the appendixes which are inseparable part of the Rental Agreement.
Super Collision Damage Waiver plus Tires and Windshield Protection
Super Collision Damage Waiver, Theft Waiver and Tires and Windshield Protection (SCDWTWP) is an optional coverage which reduces the excess of CDW, TP and TWP to zero in case of damage to the rental vehicle and theft subject to the terms and conditions of the rental contract and applicable local laws. This product also covers damage to the tires or windshield of the vehicle.
The insurance terms and conditions apply if only the Renter complies with the Rental Agreement terms and conditions as well as with the appendixes which are inseparable part of the Rental Agreement.
Tire and Windshield Protection
Tires and Windshield Protection (TWP) is an optional coverage which reduces the Renter’s financial responsibility to zero in cases of damages to tires or windshield of the rented vehicle in accordance to the terms and conditions of your rental contract and applicable local laws.
The insurance terms and conditions apply if only the Renter complies with the Rental Agreement terms and conditions as well as with the appendixes which are inseparable part of the Rental Agreement.
Forms of payment
Visa, MasterCard, American Express, ARCA credit cards, MIR are accepted as payment for rentals and upon reservation. Cash payments may be accepted if a supporting credit card is provided. Customers should present valid credit card in his or her own name for security deposit authorization purposes. The deposit amount will cover the amount of Collision Damage Waiver cover and the cost of a full tank of fuel. The deposit is 200.000 AMD for all vehicles. For Premium and Luxury SUVs and Passenger Vans the deposit is 250.000. The purchase of Partial Collision Damage Waiver and Super Collision Damage Waiver or Full Insurance reduces the deposit to 100.000 AMD. For Premium and Luxury SUVs and Passenger Vans the deposit will be reduced to 125.000 AMD. The deposit is blocked during the rental period and unblocked within 21 working days after the rental vehicle has been returned in the same condition at the time of rental pickup with no damage, full tank of fuel and no traffic fines or penalties.
Vehicle replacement in case of accidents
In events when accidents make driving the rental vehicle impossible or dangerous Enterprise Rent-A-Car provides replacement vehicle upon customer’s request.
In case of standard insurance package Enterprise Rent-A-Car office will require another deposit amount to be blocked on the customer’s credit card.
Roadside assistance
Standard roadside assistance is included in the rates. If customers have a breakdown or accident they will receive roadside assistance from our technical department. The 24/7 contact numbers are: 0037499376060 and 0037443376060. Other roadside services like flat tire, jump start, fuel delivery, loss of keys or lock services are available upon request with an extra charge according to the agency price list.
Roadside assistance is also available 24/7 in and outside of Armenia. Should customers face problems within the territory of Armenia a 250.00 AMD fee per km applies depending on the distance between Yerevan and the location of the rental vehicle requiring roadside assistance. The same rules and fees apply for roadside assistance in the territory of Georgia with the per km fee based on the distance between our Tbilisi office and rental vehicle location.
